Non Traditional

I have fallen in love with this look for a wedding dress....
This skirt is a custom made from yards of bridal tulle, and can be found at bonzie's etsy store. Isn't it gorgeous? The minute I saw it I fell in love.

I love non traditional wedding dress like this big skirt paired with that great fitted white jacket. I'm just over the strapless wedding dress. Maybe it's because my own mother was married in a simple pink suit. That's right a pink suit (she still has it too) and sadly being a good 6" taller than my mother there's no way I could ever fit into it. Or maybe as a wedding photographer I spend a lot of time at weddings and on other wedding photographers websites that I see a lot dresses, and am always drawn to the unusual ones.

I mean think of the statement you'd make in these lovely gowns....

PINK!

I had to add Carries suit because I loved that she ended up in her "label-less dress" when she tied the knot to Mr. Big!

Apparently loving Hello Kitty means you love the Jonas Brothers.

Yes, I know that sentence reads a bit odd, but I have an explanation I promise!

Today I got an email from calendars.com letting me know that I could pre-order the 2010 wall calendar of Hello Kitty. And why wouldn't I want to get in on pre-ordering of 365 days of Kitty cuteness? As I clicked the link to see what the theme was for next year it had some "recommendations" of other calendars I might like as well. You know just in case one calendar isn't enough (which in some years one just wasn't enough). And calendar.com thought that since I love Hello Kitty, I must be of the tween age, and I would also like a calendar of the Jonas Brothers as well.
Thanks, but I wouldn't.

I guess you can't get away from these things when you're young at heart. I mean look how cute she is with a lemon on her head! (and you know how I feel about lemons!)

You know what makes me crazy?

Flickr, that's what!
It seems like every time I stumble upon a beautiful picture I go to right click it and my computer trys to save the image with the file name:"spaceball" which in Flickr world means "no you can not save this awesome picture it's protected!" Why can you not save a picture to your computer from Flickr?
As a photographer myself I can see why you wouldn't want someone to steal your images and use them without giving you credit for it, but what's the point of even having them on there if you don't want to share them?
I just want pretty pictures to post on my blog, not claim their work for my own; but I know not everyone is as nice as me.
Usually after I find a picture I can't save I feel sad for a moment and then think of the movie Spaceballs and I feel better.

Dark Helmet:How can there be a cassette of Spaceballs: The Movie? We're still in the middle of making it!
Col. Sandurz:That's true, sir. But, there's been a new breakthrough in home video marketing.
Dark Helmet:There has?
Col. Sandurz: Yes. Instant cassettes. They're out in stores before the movie is finished.
But seriously who knows how to get around this?
