Making me smile

Hello dear readers! How are things in your world right now? I hope all is well and if you're like me, you're enjoying all this hot weather, resisting all the fall fashion that's making it's way everywhere, having fun with family and friends and making plans to have one last great summer adventure before we give into "non-summer" life.

A children's escape

I'm not one for children, but I do adore their things, especially their room decor right now. I have been finding the sweetest pictures of some rooms around the blog world that I wanted to share with you. The child in me can just picture the imaginary adventures of dolls, princesses, and house in these rooms. It makes me want to decorate a room in my house like this especially for my niece one day. Let your imagination do the walking!

A holiday to celebrate

4th of July has come and gone and I hope everyone has had their fill of hamburgers, friends and family and sparklers, but now it is time to move onto the next holiday: Hallmark's Ornament Premier happening this weekend, July 10th and 11th! Now I know it is too early to be thinking about Christmas, I mean I just got my tan just where I want it, but it's never too early to think about cute ornaments. You just have to separate Christmas from the ornaments and just appreciate the cuteness for what it is. I've already made my wish list and can not wait to pop over to Hallmark to take it all in a few days. View the whole Dream Book and check out some of my favorites.
