Nuts about Nautical

Is anyone else super excited to see the nautical theme everywhere right now?? Of course at work, Anthro, I see it everywhere, but it seems every other store I walk into has some sort red and white stripe, anchor, canvas and rope, and everything navy this summer and I am loving it!

I am so caught up in this whole sailor, old ship, octopus (which I see everywhere right now too!), "old man and the sea" thing. I am reading a book by Sibella Court called Ectetera etc. and she wrote the coolest thing about skills sailors had other than sailing and it has made me in love with the sailor thing even more. They were as follows: sewing, tattooing, birdwatching, whittling, bone carving, knot tying, star gazing, dancing, reading, basket weaving, and cooking. Sounds like good qualities in a man!
