Early Spring

My j.crew catalog arrived the other day and now I have a bad case of Spring fever. I want to be wearing lighter coats, nude heels, and cropped pants. And while I'm not quite ready to get in a bathing suit, you can't deny the scroll print on their one piece to be stunning. And wouldn't we all like to be somewhere that swimsuit weather is actually possible!? I'm counting down the days until April, or at least when the temperature gets over 50 degrees.

Layers for Summer

I realize with temperatures around 90 degrees everyday wearing a sweater or layers seems crazy. I'm kinda sweating just thinking about it, but I love everything about this look from JCrew right now. An easy button up, quirky sweater and a fun color pair of pants scream Sarah.

Always a kid at heart

Not only do I find myself being attracted to the same things as little kids, e.g. Hello Kitty, Disney Princesses, and pink glitter. I also find myself loving their clothes from time to time too. Up until now I've been able to keep it contained to the girls Crew Cut line for JCrew, but it has now spilled into the Brooks Brothers kids line too. JCrew appeals to my quirky, frilly, girlie side, whereas Brooks Brothers speaks to the preppy, tennis playing, madras side of my personality. I either need to find a way to start shrinking or find a child I can kidnap for the afternoon to dress up with. The cuteness is maddening! 

Crew Cuts

Can I be as cute as these girls from Crewcuts?! I love Jcrew women's clothing as much as the next preppy dressed girl, but I almost always love the Crewcuts girl's clothes way more. Perhaps it's because there's usually hot pink and tulle somewhere in the mix... Anyone else share my same love?
